In today’s community call, @Dave mentioned that he was trying to work with some Scratch workshop attendees remotely. It reminded me of this writeup that our colleagues in our friendly neighboring research group, Lifelong Kindergarten, put together about how they are using Unhangout to be able to see what workshop screens look like remotely.
This is great, Michelle! A key element is definitely " an online
platform that allowed for simultaneous screen viewing in the breakout rooms,
encouraging peer interaction and project sharing among children."
I also wanted to share the Google Drive folder I put together for the teachers and students which includes project examples and guides for getting the microbit connected to the Scratch app on Chrome OS (The folder also contains a Table of Contents PDF).
Super helpful! Thank you, Dave, for sharing what you made!
