I took a small group of home schoolers on a symmetry trip today! We discussed our zines and used paint to experiment. They tried to use different objects to create patterns and symmetry. They were so excited to use the paint that it was hard to concentrate on the symmetry part. Next time I want to use Legos to produce symmetry. This is actually not in my plan but it was kind of a trial run for summer.
